Douglas Scott Sorenson attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, The New School for Social Research, The Creative Acting Co. and studied privately with Amy Weinstein and Kirsti Kaldro.

Douglas most recently appeared in the dual role of "Bonnefoi" & "Barry" in The Cell Theatre's production of THE HYPOCHONDRIAC.

New York credits include: Providence (The Rock Theatre), the revival of Wendy MacLeod’s Sin (Abingdon Theatre), Women and Wallace (Space @ 24), Salome (Todo Con Nada), The Ridiculous Young Ladies (Random Arts), A Little Piece of the Sun (NY Fringe 02), Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse (Manhattan Children’s Theatre), and Bitch Macbeth (Access Theatre).

Regional Theatre: The Whipping Man (Luna Stage Company), The Last Bridge, In Between & Celedine (George Street Playhouse), Curious Father & Madison (Playwrights Theatre of New Jersey), Poetic License, The Prodigal Cow & Perforations (New Jersey Repertory Company), The Rimers of Eldrich & David and Lisa (The Depot Theatre), Romeo and Juliet & Lost in Yonkers and Journey of Discovery (The National Theatre).

Television and Film: The Naked Brothers Band, Upright Citizens Brigade, Snooze, Destroying the Gates, Mina Seward, Macbeth, Carefully and numerous commercial campaigns. Proud member: AEA / SAG / AFTRA
